Philosophy Quiz
If you would like to debate philosophy after you complete this feel free to post a comment. Be aware some of these are trick questions. All of the correct answers are based on the result of combining several outlooks on life, and are not proven.
1. What is the meaning of life?
2. What is the best way for a society to function?
3. If you find life meaningless, then what is the best thing that can keep you going?
4. What brought the universe into existence?
5. What is indisputably the most important force in the universe: That which shelters us from the harshness of reality, and to which we owe everything we have, including our lives?

I highly disagree with #1 and #2.
1) Meaning of life? Implying we are destined to accomplish something.
2) Such an idea could never work due to the flaws of humanity.
Silver Cloud
We aren't destined to accomplish anything. We've been given a life however, and we are wired to try and analyze why we are here. Of course, the true answer shall never reveal itself. We just conjure up our own definition on the meaning of life to best suit our purposes. Therefore, it is what we make...

Whether we like to admit it or not, everypony (to varying extents) thinks there is some great picture that they would fit into. Whether it's through religion or ideals, everyone feels like they have some sort of purpose in life. It's just different from person to person: What you make of it.

The seco...

Very interesting, albeit depressing. :< I myself kinda follow a mix of existentialism, Buddhist philosophy, and my very own thoughts and ideas.
Silver Cloud
Reality is always depressing. I just like to draw all over it with pretty crayons, then back up and say, "THERE! ALL DONE!"

Then I walk away with a stupid grin on my face. It works wonderfully.
April Fools
Sounds like a better alternative to an existential crisis. =D

Did 0% on purpose. I agree with pretty much nothin' here.
Silver Cloud
I sure wish I could disagree with myself, but if I did then that would mean I'm even crazier than I thought.

But in all seriousness, nothing is certain in the world, and it is always left up to the mind to process it. All of our brains and experiences are different, so there will always be a differen...
