I CHANGED MY NAME! Sorry for the confusion. I used to be, Tennessee Breeze.
Emalee Shy is an Earth pony, living in Ponyville. She was brought up in the south by her two pony parents. Her father and mother were Earth pony's as well. Her father was a farmer, and her mother was a teacher. She has one older brother; Rose, one little brother; Jasper, and one younger sister, BeatleBug. Her parents died of an influenza that came through when she was around ten years old. Emalee was sent to live with her Aunt. It was a big change for Emalee, but she became used to it after awhile.
Other family and loved ones - Heaven Beat (BEST PONY FRIEND!) Calclor, and Butterscotch (cousins!) Midnight (The Awesome Butler) Midnight Glimmer (Crazy Uncle)
She does spend a lot of the time in the park.
Emalee loves history. She has wanted to travel to different countries to learn more. She doesn't read very much, but every now and then she will research some of her favorite historians that have shaped the world, but mostly she is a hands on person.
She is a very fun, enthusiastic, and loving pony. She is very shy when she first meets new people. It's hard for her to get the courage to talk to otherponies, but she would love to get to know everypony around.
As for her color, she got her coloring from her mother's side of the family. Her grandmother was grey with a purple and black mane, while her grandfather had a real tealish coloring to him, and a maroon and blue mane. She happened to end up looking like a blend of the two of them.

Real life people. I am eighteen years old, and I have just been introduced to the MLP:FIM community, and absolutely love it! I am very friendly, and if anypony needs help with something, then I am here to talk! I do get nervous starting a conversation with others, but I try my best!! Also my favorite band is THE BEATLES!
