Why I became a brony... Mend the broken, make strong the weak, and without hesitation, vanquish evil!
There was one soldier who was more Brony than the rest.
My pony was designed and created by my good friend Yoko. I asked her to make a pony version of myself, all I did was give it the name, which I got from a brony name generator :3 Thus my pony is a work of fate.
Okay, here is how I became a Brony. Once back in 2009, while I was on one of my many adventures through time and space, I stumbled upon a MLP VHS. It was the first episode/movie ever! Curious, I watched it. I love movies, love em. I like to believe I love movies more than anypony, I am thinking this is girl show no? No it wasnt, sure lots of cute little ponies around but what was the plot? An evil demon sending his dragon army to capture ponies, transform them into monsters and conquer ALL THE WORLDS!!! Need less to say, I loved it. Sadly the canon was dead and ponys no longer walked the earth. Fast forward 2011, MLP FIM comes out, instantly fall in love, watch secretly, hide in shame. Ask cute japanese friend to draw my pony, she asks if I am a Brony, upon hearing this awesome word I learn I am not alone.
I am not BrightBrave, BrightBrave is me, and this is his story.
BrightBrave was born to a pegasus father and an earth pony mother. When he arrived his parents were amazed that he was not one color, he was camouflage. The time came when most ponies had received their cutie mark but, BrightBrave had not. When his parents talked to him about it he said he didn't want one because they weren't cool. This had a tragic effect when he grew into a stallion. He never out grew his colt face. Having no cutie mark and the face of a colt, he left his home in search of his destiny. One day while wandering through the EverrFree Forest, he came across a group of ponies being attacked by timber wolfs. He charged the wolfs trying to ram them, but the wolfs simply knocked him away. Getting up as fast as he could, something caught his eye. There was a grenade on the ground next to him. He snatched up the grenade, pulled the pin with his mouth, AND HE THREW IT ON THE GROUND!!!!! driving off all the timber wolfs. This was the first weapon he had ever used. He felt incredible. Something was different. He looked at his flank and a grenade had appeared. The moment had finally come, he realized that he did not receive a cutie mark, but, a Duty Mark. He helped the other ponies back home and went back to his family. His parents were thrilled, their son had finally found his place in the world. Bidding his parents farewell he went off to find weapons and go to were the action was, BrightBrave was now a soldier. He jorneyed to Canterlot to meet the palace guards and learn of the evils that threatened his kingdom. There he learned that Tartarus, was where all evil lived. He set out to make a base of operations on the outskirts of Tartartus and started growing some food stuffs, for he was still an earth pony. Everyday he would go on sorties into the dark depths battling evil and keeping the enemies of Equestria at bay. Often he would visit other places in Equestria to trade for equipment, weapons, and supplies. It was a lonely life but, he trusted in fate to decide his future hoping some day to find a mate and raise children of his own to make the world that he lived in a better place. For time was not important to him, only life.
